2012年尾的曼谷之旅，分別入住了曼谷兩間新酒店，一間是位於Asok的strong style=”color: #990099;”>The Continent Hotel Bangkok，另一間是位於Chong Nonsi的W Hotel Bangkok。這篇文章先介紹首兩晚入住的The Continent Hotel Bangkok，這間酒店座落在曼谷Asok BTS車站旁邊，位置超方便，是不錯的曼谷住宿推薦。

The Continent Hotel Bangkok是一間新開業的酒店，剛剛在2012年11月開業。選擇入住這間酒店的其中一個原因就是因為她是新酒店，除此之外，The Continent Hotel Bangkok的位置相當便利，而且價格很吸引，這些都是吸引我們這次入住的原因。

一、The Continent Hotel Bangkok的位置

 

The Continent Hotel Bangkok所在的Asok區是曼谷其中一個主要的商業區，也是曼谷空鐵(BTS)和地鐵(MRT)的交匯轉乘車站，人流暢旺，但Asok並不是一個重要的旅遊區，區內最主要的旅遊設施只有Asok BTS車站旁邊的Terminal 21商場，除此之外街上商店並不多，就連曼谷街頭隨處可見的7-11在這一區也不易找到。

 

不過，由於交通方便，而且與Siam和Chi Lom這些曼谷主要旅遊區同處於Thanon Sukhumvit大街，距離亦不遠，所以Asok也是熱門的曼谷住宿地點，區內有多間酒店，例如Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit – Terminal 21、Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok、Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit、Dream Hotel、S Sukhumvit Suites Hotel等等，這些都是頗受自由行旅客喜愛的曼谷酒店。

The Continent Hotel Bangkok座落在Thanon Sukhumvit與Thanon Asok Montri兩條大街交界的Interchange 21 Tower商業大廈旁邊，樓高34層。

二、The Continent Hotel Bangkok的交通

 

The Continent Hotel Bangkok位於曼谷主要街道Thanon Sukhumvit大道上，距離BTS Asok站和地鐵Sukhumvit站都只是大約200米，步行只需2分鐘左右。而且，從BTS車站到酒店之間有行人天橋連接，無須在街道上行走，亦不必橫過路面，既方便又安全。所以，論位置的便利性，The Continent Hotel Bangkok比起同區中其他受歡迎的Dream Hotel、Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok、Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit等更加優勝，是Asok區最值得推薦的曼谷住宿選擇。

 

從The Continent Hotel Bangkok大門右轉20米就是BST Asok的其中一個出入口，從這個出入口上去就是連接BTS車站的行人天橋，不過這裡沒有設置扶手電梯，需要步行30多級樓梯

從酒店沿行人天橋步行200米就到BTS Asok站

曼谷的塞車情況相當嚴重，所以如無必要，最好不要乘坐的士。其實曼谷的主要旅遊區都可以乘坐BTS或者地鐵到達，而Asok正好位於BTS與地鐵的交匯點，所以無論是乘坐BTS前往Siam、Chi Lom或Saphn Taksin，還是乘坐地鐵去翟道翟跳蚤市場，都相當方便。

 

位於BTS Asok站旁邊的Terminal 21商場是Asok區主要的旅遊設施，亦是曼谷近年新的旅遊點。Terminal 21的一樓與BTS Asok站有天橋相連，由The Continent Hotel Bangkok沿行人天橋步行到商場只需2分鐘時間。

從曼谷機場乘坐的士去The Continent Hotel Bangkok，如果走高速公路，在不塞車的情況下大約需時30分鐘，車費連路費約400銖。如果你選擇乘坐機場鐵路，可以乘坐SA Express或者SA Cityline到Makkasan站，然後再轉乘地鐵到Sukhumvit站下車。從Sukhumvit站2號出口的自動扶手電梯出到路面後，轉左沿行人路步行約150米就到The Continent Hotel Bangkok。

三、The Continent Hotel Bangkok的環境

 

雖然The Continent Hotel Bangkok屬於一間五星級酒店，但由於酒店大廈的土地面積不大，所以感覺上酒店內部的空間比例狹小。

The Continent Hotel Bangkok樓高34層，不過可能因為迷信的關係，酒店沒有使用4,13,14,24,34這些數字，所以最高層數是38樓

四、The Continent Hotel Bangkok的設施

 

酒店的設備並不多，除了設於35樓的餐廳之外，在36樓有一個小型的健身室，37樓就有一個小型游泳池，而38樓有一個頂樓酒吧，不過我們入住時仍未開業。

酒店除了在大堂設有兩部可以供住客上網的電腦之外，整間酒店的範圍，包括房間，都有免費的Wifi網絡，無須密碼，只需要在Wifi網絡選擇“The Continent Hotel”，再在網頁中選擇“Free Internet Access”下的“Free for 24 hours”後按“Continue”就可以登入網絡。

The Continent Hotel Bangkok總共設有153間客房，房間的設計分為海洋(Ocean)、森林(Forest)、沙漠(Desert)和太空(Space)四種主題。想知道你入住的房間屬於哪種主題，看一看床頭上的掛畫就知道了。

我們入住的是最基本的房間類型 – 豪華房(Deluxe Room)，房間面積不大，但感覺也不是太迫；由於酒店新開業不久，所以房間仍然很新淨，感覺也很舒適

我們住的是一張大床的房，據稱床的尺寸是Queen Size，不過感覺上張床很小

房間採用落地大玻璃，拉開窗簾後房間非常光猛，而且可以飽覽街上的風景

空鐵就在酒店前面經過，當有列車經過時會聽到輕微的嘈雜聲，但並不算太嚴重

雖然泰國是使用兩腳扁腳插頭，但三腳方腳插頭也很多，所以酒店提供的插座都是三腳方腳的插座，無須使用轉換器

六、曼谷The Continent Hotel Bangkok住宿總結

The Continent Hotel Bangkok在Agoda的住客評分是8.4分(10分滿分)，在TripAdvisor的住客評分則是4.5分(5分滿分)。如果由我打分，我的評分會是整體4.4分(5分滿分)，其中位置4.6分，房間4.5分，設施4.2分，廁所/浴室4.0分，再加一個性價比4.7分。

 

The Continent Hotel Bangkok雖然位置上很接近BTS和地鐵車站，交通很方便，但始終不是位於Siam或Chi Lom這些主要旅遊購物區，所以我對位置的評分只有4.6分。

 

另外，The Continent Hotel Bangkok有兩個問題令我的評分偏低了一點：

  1. 第一個問題是酒店對面的Exchange Tower地下的行人路在周末晚上會開設露天酒吧，酒吧的歌聲頗大，即使在房間內也會感到少許嘈吵；
  2. 第二個問題是座廁的沖水系統的質量有些毛病，很多時沖水後沖水口的蓋無法返回原位，令到座廁的水一直流，需要人手處理。

 

最後，酒店並沒有提供拖鞋。不過這可能是泰國酒店的習慣，由於我不常去泰國，不知道其他酒店是否也一樣沒有提供拖鞋，但這次入住的兩間酒店，包括The Continent Hotel和之後入住的W Hotel Bangkok，都沒有提供拖鞋，所以我估計可能泰國酒店習慣不提供拖鞋吧。
